Naloxone/Narcan
The coalition is happy to support the distribution of naloxone (Narcan) to prevent opioid related overdoses, in our community.
In 2025, the coalition proudly wrote a letter of support for the YMCA to obtain their public health vending machine which supplies Narcan, fentanyl and xylazine test strips, among other items. The vending machine is located outside the Ferguson YMCA (235 North Jefferson Street) on the Pine Street side of the builidng.

If you are interested in a Narcan training, please contact the coalition.
Drug Take Back
Brown County Coalition for Change partners with Brown County Public Health and the Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC) to provide two drug take back events each year (April and October) in accordance with National Drug Take Back Day.
Our April 2026 event was our most successful yet. We collected over 112 pounds of unwanted and expired medications from Brown County community members!
See us on October 21, 2026 from 11am - 1pm at the ADRC!
